Case study Verisec and UK Trade & Investment
Swedish IT security company Verisec recently secured a major contract with London’s Borough Councils with help and advice from UK Trade & Investment. To reach a bigger market, Verisec looked at the UK and in January 2010 travelled to Birmingham where it received help and advice from UK Trade & Investment and a regional partner. The partner introduced Verisec to estate agents, accountants and lawyers, and UKTI provided advice about setting up a UK company.

Verisec Modernizes Key Management in Cooperation with Point
Verisec has developed a new key management system that electronically keeps track of all the processes that govern generation, storage and distribution of cryptographic keys. The system is called Chiave and it will make it safer and easier for banks and payment processors to manage cryptographic keys in large volumes.

Verisec and Atos Initiate Collaboration and Provide Greater London with Strong Authentication
Swedish IT security company Verisec and Atos have formed a collaboration to provide 33 London borough councils with strong authentication. The joint solution entails that Verisec will distribute its Freja authentication appliance to these London boroughs, and Atos will host the London Identity Provider authentication services and issue tokens to end users.

Country Manager UK & Ireland to join Verisec Ltd
Verisec is continuing the process of building a local UK based organisation. Susannah Frost joined Verisec on Thursday 9th June 2011 as Country Manager UK & Ireland to increase sales and presence for the region.
Susannah began her career in Information Technology in March 1992. She chose to specialise in the IT Security Sector in April 2000 and has gained extensive experience and success through working at a number of content filtering and two factor strong authentication vendors.
She has a proven track record in proposing effective security solutions for various ICT projects within both the corporate and public sector, at the same time building relationships and structure for the channel to grow and fulfil profitable business.
Susannah will be in contact with all our existing customers to make introductions.
