Verisec provides a UK university with secure solutions

Press release

IT security company Verisec announces today that it has signed an agreement with a major UK university regarding secure logins for university students and employees.

The University has chosen Verisec’s proprietary solution Freja ID that is part of a larger platform that provides a secure digital identity for the user. Based on the platform, services that are founded on secure, encrypted and traceable communication can be created. The platform is scalable with the ability to connect a large number of users, which can be very beneficial for the public sector with its many customers. Using Verisec’s platform as a foundation for secure login with strong authentication provides the opportunity to further build on secure messaging, e-signing and many other services.

Johan Henrikson, CEO Verisec, comments:
“Verisec has for several years aided UK municipalities with secure logins and solutions. The opportunity to contribute to the University’s digitisation is a great success to us. The new agreement became a realtity by the assistance of one of our British partners. We look forward to being able to attract more universities and institutions in the public sector, in both the UK and other countries, in the future.”
