German insurance company choose security solution from Verisec Press release Published 8 March, 2017 The Swedish IT-security company Verisec has signed an agreement with one of the public insurance companies providing social insurance for agriculture, forestry and horticulture in Germany. The order includes Freja ID, Verisec’s platform for managing digital identities, and the mobile ID application Freja Mobile. The insurance company is a federal corporation with 5 000 employees and provides social insurance to 1,6 million employees within agriculture, forestry and horticulture. The company is undergoing a digitalization of its operations and wants to raise the access security with the help of a user friendly mobile ID. In the first stage Verisec’s technology will be used for Doctors managing personal data of insured individuals online. Further planning includes secure remote employee login and at a later stage the policyholders may be included.
