Freja eID eliminates password hassle and secures the identification of PictureMyLife users Press release Published 16 February, 2018 IT security company Verisec announces today that PictureMyLife has enabled its users to log in to the service using Freja eID. This allows the users to avoid the hassle and and insecurity of passwords. PictureMyLife is a digital, image-based Diary for children and adults with cognitive difficulties. It enables easy, interactive communication between home and school or between daily activities, accommodation and families. The images are personal, intended for the invitees only, and it is important that users and their families feel safe. PictureMyLife chose Freja eID for secure identification when logging in to the Diary. Freja eID is a mobile electronic identity that is controlled by the user for secure log in, signing and communication in the digital world. Instead of using a password, log in and transactions are confirmed with so-called two-factor authentication using fingerprint or PIN in the Freja eID app. Freja eID is available in two levels of identity assertion, of which the higher, Freja eID+, is approved by the governmental Swedish E-identification Board for the quality mark Svensk e-legitimation (Swedish Electronic Identity). Johan Henrikson, CEO Verisec, comments: “PictureMyLife is doing a fantastic job by digitalizing the contact book and creating an interactive forum for parents, teenagers and children. I’m excited that we can contribute with a little piece of the puzzle with Freja eID to protect log ins and user integrity. And above all, we are very happy to make the user experience a lot easier by replacing all cumbersome passwords with a user-friendly mobile app.” For more information, please contact: Johan Henrikson, CEO Verisec Mobile: +46 733 45 89 02 E-mail: firstname.lastname@example.org For press release in PDF, please click here.
